A sixth person has died in Melbourne’s tragic car attack on Bourke Street. Seven more people remain in hospital as of today’s date.
The suspect, Dimitrious Gargasoulas, allegedly drove his car down the pavement of the popular Melbourne shopping street hitting dozens of people. It was estimated by one witness that he at times reached 60KMH (37MPH) while driving at people on the pavement – including children and a baby in a pram.
